Galen Walter
Vigil Honor
Galen is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor Member from Sebooney Okasucca Lodge. Prior to being elected Section Chief he served as a Chapter Chief, 2025 Conclave Vice Chief of Program, 2026 Section Secretary, and also served as the Sebooney Okasucca Lodge Chief. In his free time he enjoys duck hunting, serving his church, and powerlifting. Galen currently attends Mississippi State University.

Kaleb Thompson
Brotherhood Honor
Kaleb is from Ocean Springs, MS, an Eagle Scout, and Brotherhood Member from Ti’ak Lodge. Currently, Kaleb serves as the Vice Chief of Communications for Ti’ak, and prior to his election served as the 2026 E4 Conclave Chairman. Kaleb also was honored with the Eagle Project of the Year award in Council Service Territory 16, which includes Scouts from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida! Kaleb also really enjoys Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers.
Kaleb is excited to help Woa Cholena Lodge plan the E4 Section Inductions Experience happening January 22nd-24th!
Section Secretary
Daniel Kindt
Vigil Honor
Daniel Kindt is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member from Woa Cholena Lodge. Daniel currently serves as the Lodge Chief of Woa Cholena, a team lead on the National Communications Committee, and has served on NLS Staff, as well as Vice Chief of Communications for his own lodge.
Daniel is looking forward to serving Section E4 by providing impactful communication with all Lodges and Arrowmen!

Mark Norris
Vigil Honor
Mark is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member from Woa Cholena Lodge in Mobile, AL. Mark has previously served as lodge chief, section chief, and Southern Region Chief. In his free time, Mark enjoys training for triathlons and playing golf. Mark looks forward to supporting the section officers and continuing to support the lodges of E4!

Bill Payne
Vigil Honor
Bill is an Eagle Scout (Class of 1982) from the Gulf Coast Council. He was inducted into the Order of the Arrow in 1977 in the Yustaga Lodge, where he also sealed his membership with Brotherhood and was also presented the Vigil Honor. Bill has served as in numerous leadership positions at the Unit, District, Lodge, Section, and National levels throughout his tenure in Scouting. Bill is a Founder’s Award Recipient and was also presented the Centurion Award during the 100th Anniversary of the Order of the Arrow. Some of his fondest memories throughout his career are with the Order of the Arrow and the lifetime friends that he has made and continues to make. One the most special memories was seeing his wife (selected) and son (elected) to the Order of the Arrow and both receive their Vigil Honor. His son, Bradley, also an Eagle Scout, is a former Lodge Chief of the Yustaga Lodge and Section SR-1B Section Vice Chief. Bill loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends, both old and new! “I cannot express how excited I am about this opportunity to serve as the Associate Section Adviser for Section E-4 and working with these officers to bring a great program to all the Lodges we serve!”
